To be eligible to participate in the KMHS Middle School Football Program, all students must comply with GMSAA & Cobb County School District eligibility requirements. 

All players are required complete and submit the following:
· Jr. Mustang Registration Form
· Signed GMSAA Waiver Form
· Annual Physical Examination Form signed by an authorized physician, indicating the player is physically approved for participation. Physicals are good for a period of one year

NOTE:. These forms must be on file with the KMHS Football Booster Club prior to a student being issued equipment or participating in any athletic try-outs, practices or games. These rules are in line with the requirements of the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA).

               $50 Discount on Registration Fees for each additional sibling playing in the Middle School Program

Jr. Mustang Player Registration Fee ‐ $299

Note: ‐ Registration Forms must be completed and first payment must be paid at Registration.

‐No Equipment Will Be Issued for Spring Practice Until $149 of the full Fees are Paid. (Non Refundable)
‐The other $150 will be due on July 15, 2016. (Sibling Discount is $50 per sibling)
‐All players that pay full registration by the end of Spring Practice will get a Player Pack which consists of Mustang Practice
  T Shirt and Shorts.
Player Registration Fee Provides The Following Benefits For Your Child:

  • Use of quality facilities including locker room, weight room and practice fields
  • Premier Coaching and Skills Development
  • Professional Physical Therapy/Medical Training Staff and Supplies
  • Practice & Game Equipment
  • Practice & Game Uniforms
  • Helmet Reconditioning
  • Winter Workouts, Spring Football, Summer Workouts and Fall Football
  • Speed, Flexibility and Strength Analysis and Training
  • Concussion Testing
  • Georgia Middle School Athletic Association Fees, Coaches Registration, Background Checks
  • Referee Compensation
Refund Policy

The football program budget and expenses are based on the number of football players and the fees
collected. Limited refunds will be provided based on the following guidelines based on $350 paid:

  • Refunds before the first day of Spring Practice will be 100% less an administrative fee for all cost incurred up to the point of the    request for refund. (Winter Workouts will be $50)
  • Refunds after the first day of Spring Practice thru the end of Spring Practice will be $150 of the full fee paid.
  This is less all cost incurred through Spring Practice. (Winter Workouts-$50; Spring Practice-$100)
  • July – No Refunds will be made unless Moving out of the District.
  • August – No Refunds will be made after the first fall practice
  • Injuries - No refunds for injuries after the first fall scrimmage.
  • No refunds for players dismissed from the team or school for disciplinary action.

  • All Middle School players are required to participate in one Football Fundraising Activity (Sell 5 Stampede Cards and return   $100) or parents can buy out with $100 donation for their 5 Stampede Cards to keep or give away.


  • All parents are asked to help find one Sponsor at any level. Sponsorship Levels can be found on the Sponsor page at


  • All parents are required to volunteer to assist the booster club for at least two events during the year. This will be the
  administration of the MS games. (Gate and Chain Gang). A $50 check will be due for Volunteer payment. Once this  requirement is met the check will be returned.
